If we wish to transform ourselves from a caterpillar into a butterfly and move from a place of fear to one of love, there is a simple 5 step procedure we need to follow in order to talk, heal, change, develop and evolve towards a brighter future for ourselves, and our community, where we start to become an Ally Of Nature in the process.
It heralds from a time honoured method lovingly handed down from generation to generation of indigenous people immersed within a nature-based, shamanic culture. All personal development I believe can be traced back to this original blueprint of how to live your life with more fulfilment and bring more balance back into your existence.
Firstly, we have to take responsibility for our lives again and talk truthfully about how it is to live within a fear based, growth orientated, caterpillar culture where we are criticised, controlled and bullied at every turn. We can then focus our attention more towards what a more sustainable, loving existence would be like for us and what that would really mean when we are able to embrace it as the butterfly we are capable of becoming.
Secondly, we need to separate ourselves away from the life we have become accustomed to living to date, at the mercy of other people and be prepared to heal every aspect of our being, dissolving what no longer serves us as a person so we can begin to become truly whole and start to create a new culture for ourselves. Here, the caterpillar begins the necessary change that is required within its life by creating the chrysalis it will enter where all of its body will disintegrate from its previous form so it can then emerge into something far more beautiful, transforming all its heaviness into a lighter form.
Thirdly, we are required to voyage out into the wilderness, into the darkness of the chrysalis, going deep into nature, to see what the bigger picture is for our own lives, being prepared to change our viewpoint on where our future lies and discover our purpose for the benefit of everyone in our community.
Fourthly, we are encouraged to plot our return, to develop a strategy of how to get to our new desired destination, where we emerge from our temporary silken home, and then resolve to set about creating a future community based on realigned values and more authentic aspirations true to ourselves.
Finally, we can start to evolve into the person and people we are truly meant to be, prepared to lead our own lives more fully as our more authentic selves, as our imago, truly loving our journey and connecting and collaborating with other like minds that share our vision, values and purpose and who are prepared to fly alongside us as butterflies to help manifest our dream, as our fellow Allies Of Nature.
Together we can start to create this transformation right now by beginning the talk and answering The Call To Adventure.
