The Meadowsweet graces our hedgerows and verges from midsummer onwards. Its flowers are like candy floss and bring an intoxicating, sweet smell to lift any mirky mood. It formerly was used in old churches to eradicate any mouldy old fragrances that existed there, to restore balance.
This essence is for people who are unaware of the consequences of their actions when they stray into the realm of the ego. This can have a negative impact on both themselves and others. These people may often find themselves inadvertently in uncomfortable situations, having strayed rather ignorantly into dangerous territory due to their ego wishing to keep themselves small and not progressing in life, perhaps because temptation has become knocking again.
Meadowsweet is an essence that enables us to find our fulcrum in life, the point of balance, to be the 'Bridge Between Two Worlds'. This is so we are able to choose which realm we want to venture into consciously, either the ego or the soul. In so doing we know the full consequences of our actions as we experience both dark and light equally well in our life and therefore are quickly able to restore parity to ourselves, others and our situation as we now know the territory that we are likely to walk into and encounter.
