New Gentle Men & New Gentle Women Circles
CALLING FORTH A NEW, MORE GENTLE LEADER
Inspired by the surname of my beloved friend John Nugent (New Gent), who tragically took his own life in late 2023, New Gentle Men & New Gentle Women circles are now forming. John exemplified more open-hearted and gentle leadership, qualities that are now desperately needed in our society. It is my intention that his name will forever live on through these circles as we gather a new band of heart centred warriors and earth stewards in his honour.
In 2021, The Samaritans reported 5,219 suicides in England, with 74% being men. The highest percentage were men aged 50-54, John was 59. As we reach middle age, we often lose sight of our life purpose, we feel isolated, alone and descend into despair, which I call 'The Slow' period of our life. During this time, passive suicidal thoughts may arise. A new mindset and a jolt to our system are needed to rediscover our joy and reason for being in order to get back in 'The Flow' again.
Consider the film Gladiator, where Maximus, played by Russell Crowe, faces deep loss and sadness when his wife and child are slain by the Roman Army. He wishes for death himself, but is reminded by his friend Juba, "Ah, but not yet, my friend," implying that there is a higher purpose for him yet to be fulfilled. Similarly, I believe everyone has a higher purpose. Through these circles, we support each other, raise our vibes, and discover what that purpose is for every single one of us.
We need kindness, compassion, and gentleness now more than ever. As new gentle leaders and guardians of the planet, we aim to restore the world to true wholeness and venerate all life.

These sessions aim to strengthen connections with each other and deepen our relationship with Mother Earth, rediscovering joy and our purpose in life.

These circles provide a platform for personal transformation, helping individuals emerge from their chrysalis into their true butterfly selves.
